Ministry of Food

At the Ministry of Food, we have a big ambition to reach even more people with the transformative power of cooking. By 2023 we want to reach 1 million people through our campaigns – that’s 3 million meals revolutionised.

Schools

Teaching children about good food is essential in schools and deserves to be an integral part of the Government’s health and education policies.

Community

The first community programme was launched in 2008, with the mission of teaching people how to cook and eat to improve their long-term health and wellbeing. Today Jamie’s Ministry of Food is the largest community cooking programme in the UK. We work with councils, charities and other partners across the UK, Australia and beyond who deliver the programme in their local areas. Together we have reached over 100,000 people.

Workplace

Our work both in the community and at the Jamie Oliver Cookery School demonstrates the real appetite for food classes. So by offering engaging bespoke courses in the workplace, we are able to inspire and empower even more people to cook great food from scratch, while they have a great time.
