London, 24th May:  The Jamie Oliver Group today announces Duncan Tate has been appointed Director of Product & Partnerships. Reporting directly to Chief Commercial Officer Megan Van Someren, Duncan will be responsible for maximising commercial and brand growth across food and homeware products as well as commercial brand partnerships.

Megan Van Someren says, “I’m thrilled Duncan is joining our team at such a pivotal time. He brings incredibly relevant experience in both retail and licensing for leading, global brands including Moonbug, Walt Disney and ASDA. He has a proven track record in unlocking growth by bringing together content and commerce but with brand experience at the heart.  This will be essential as we deliver our ambitious plans in the UK and globally.” 

On his appointment, Duncan Tate says, “I am excited to be joining the Jamie Oliver Group in this newly created role. The Product & Partnerships team is an integral part of the Group’s long term growth strategy. To join and lead a team that is passionate about delivering best in class experiences and products for its global customer base, underpinned by a strong social purpose foundation, makes it my dream role.” 

Prior to joining the Jamie Oliver Group,  Duncan led Moonbug’s Global Hardlines business, helping to develop pre-school properties such as CoComelon globally. During his tenure at Disney, he was responsible for Hardlines and FMCG for Disney’s product and retailer strategy in Australia and New Zealand before moving to EMEA and driving its portfolio of global and regional licensees.
